MOONLIGHT, MAIDEN'S TOWER

Print Size
This image of the Maidens Tower was shot late one balmy summer evening as the moon rose
to briefly salute the departing sun. Just a few yards behind me, the River Boyne swirled in the embrace
of its everlasting dance with the Irish Sea. The last of the mackerel fishermen, silhouetted on the estuary rocks,
cast their lines out into the gathering dusk.
